Does it ever finish and present a page? The default install of wwc is "file based" meaning it's passing a text file from the web server to a vfp server and vice-versa via a timer. That narrows the problem to access rights to where the temp file is being created and read. (to test if it's your computer or environment that's slow, you could download a similar web tool from www.activevfp.com and see if you get the same results)
