It looks you'll need to give me a hint. I'm still not getting anywhere.

Crystal displays the null as 12/30/1899, but I have not been able to filter for that because it's not really there (I guess). I've tried IsNull({table.field}) as a select criteria. I tried various forms of DateLiteral and Cdate. I'm just at a loss. Of course I'm also printing a huge graphic document for another department, assisting Accounting with a switch to a payroll service and continuing to push along the migration to a new accounting software (written in Access--yuck!). Tired and not concentrating very well. /:o-ZZZZZ

>That's what the ODBC driver is returning. It has nothing to do with Crystal. You'll have to write a formula in Crystal to look for that specific date and then make it blank.
