My thoughts exactly !
I think that the search functionality is worth the price many times over - if I save 10 hours a year because I find some answers quickly then I've paid for my subscription many times over.

>PS I do wish that change activities by UT management were directly publicized in threads (hiding them in "Site news", and after the fact, isn't really helpful). But that's my only *real* complaint.

>>I'm surprised there are as many PUTM as there are. I just let my subscription slide, and still haven't decided if it is worth it to renew. The only thing I found that it gave me was the ability to search when I needed an answer immediately. Any other time I could just post the question and someone would either answer directly or give me a link to the solution. It's not about the amount of money, which I don't think is outrageous, but rather whether it's even necessary. Before I had it I thought that I must have it. Now, after a year of using it, I'm not so sure. Plus, you don't have get the magazine thrown in anymore.

>>>I'm surprised you're not a PUTM as I was just looking at the benefits and cost thereof and your picture and blurb appear in the "Comments from Members" section, under "from the PUTM Corner". ???
Cheers,
