Hi,

In a networked environment, I create a shortcut on a shared folder that resides on one of the company's servers (w2000) from my pc running WIN XP. Any member of my group that also runs XP has no problem running from the aforementioned shortcut. However, those in my group that are running W2000 workstation have an unresolved target in the shortcut. This is the path to c:\program files\microsoft visual foxpro 8\vfp8.exe. It invariably translates to c:\progra~1\micros~1\vfp8.exe and therefore fails. However, if I create the shortcut from the W2000 station, all users, WinXP and W2000 can successfully double click the shortcut and run it.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I researched on MSDN but did not find anything that would solve the issue.

TIA

Vince
