What to reproduce?
The problem very clear.
for example go to your 'windows explorer', mark sum file,property.
You will se a hidden check box, it's mark with 'V' if your file is hidden and it's empty if your file not hidden.
now select two files, one is hideen and one is not hidden, go to property what will you see in the 'hidden' check box? square in the middle.
that is what I see in my check boxes!
