>Don't forget that Red Miller was in his first year as head coach of the Broncos and he took them to a 12-2 record in 1978. As to since then, ha ha ha, very funny. *VBG* I'm sure others will jump in here. I realize that superbowl XXXII and XXXIII were a long time ago, but really! :o)
LOL.. No I was referring to the rest of the 70's and all of the 80's.
I was so happy for John Elway when he finally broke through to win two SBs. Lord knows he deserved them. I was also happy that he invited Dan Reeves to his HOF induction. That was classy.

>>>Go back even earlier to the Broncos and the Cowboys in 1978. I was living in Colorado then and I remember the hype. It was amazing...

>>Yeah. I remember. It was Tony Dorsett's first and only Super Bowl win. Randy White and Harvey Martin were co-MVPs, although many felt that Cowboys' Randy Hughes, the free safty, was also deserving of the award. Afterwards, Harvey Martin did the "Orange Crush" soft drink. :)

>>I really felt for Craig Morton. He finally made it to a Super Bowl, against his old team at that, and got clobbered. I always liked him.
>>
>>But I think the 49er's and the Cowboys rivalry in the early 90's were more intense because it lasted several years. The Broncos were a one year wonder in 70's. What happened to them after 1978? I don't remember.
