Funny you should say that. We are in the process of moving our apps to MySQL but it is going to take till the end of next year.
>VFP tables may not be your best choice in that case IMO. A more robust backend like SQL Server or MySQL would be more appropriate. You wouldn't have to do all that data manipulation as a bonus.
