Nadya,

One thing for sure the release of VFP 9 is coming soon. Besides that who knows what is going to happen after that.

The signal has been clear for some time now. Those still interested to play in the MS sandbox will have to develop with .Net

No matter what will have to be developed the answer is .Net

Perhaps the decision has already been taken to develop VFP 10. But the later they announce it the better for .Net

Like it did for many before, the insecurity caused by the delay of an official announcement will result in many leaving VFP to jump to .Net

I wonder if Michel Fournier will still have his annual survey on the use of VFP. We'll probably be shocked by the percentages of those using exclusively VFP as their development tool.

But if you ask me. I don't care. I don't pick a development tool and then solve all my problems with it. I pick the tool that I know will be the best to build the solutions I have to build. And for what I'm working on right now VFP is still the one.

But I'm not crazy I know that VFP's days are counted. The only problem is that I don't know how many days. <g>
