The Crystal dialogs suck...not user friendly at all. Create a form in VFP to prompt for the paramter, then pass it to Crystal reports. I gave a link in the other thread that shows how to pass the parameter from VFP to Crystal.

But I am not sure how to design such that crystal report will prompt user for record selection. So I use VFP7 to read record from mySql and pass to crystalreport. Is there anyone know how to prompt user for record in crystal report or pass the parameter from vfp7 to crystal report? Thanks for your help.
