>I have noticed that SQL Server allows an image data type as a field in a table. Can anyone direct me to where I might find information on how to store an image in SQL server from VFP7? Do I need to read the image file into a variable in VFP and then send it to SQL? I have tried to do just that, and have had no success. Any help would be appreciated.

Image datatype maps to VFP general datatype.
There are a number of ways to handle it including XML. To see one of these ways check FAQ #7995
