Just got a request from a client to add an application to his SYMBOL PPT8800 unit.

What is the recommended Database deveopment package to use ?

Ours is a VFP shop.

The requirement is to download to the SYMBOL, a table of parts and prices and then the client will walk around the store, select a part by scanning the UPC code with the symbol, search for the part and change the price. Then back in the cradle and upload the same file with new prices. Then the main application will make the price changes in the POS system

Any thoughts ?
