I feel the same way but I think I found the problem. I did not close the cursor after running the sqlexec and creating a table of the Oracle data. In our multi-user maybe oracle sensed the same connection named data or there was a network lock on that name. Yea its out there but I am reaching. The problem only happens intermittently and when 2 or more users are in this same app. Sorry for the late response, office Christmas parties and all you know.
