Have a client running 2 fpd2.6 systems on win98 Pc's. They're looking to upgrade 1 of the three PC's running these systems to a new PC with WinXP. I have been running tests
in my lab with one of the fpd2.6 systems on a PC with WinXP sp2.
2 problems have shown up:
1. Error # 6 - Too many files open. On the Win98 PC the config.sys file has a "Files=64"
statement which solves this problem, but nothing seems to increase the Files Environmental Variable "Files" in Win XP. (At least so that fpd recognizes it)
2. The window size will not open up to use the entire screen. It only uses about half of the screen even when you press the Max button. The smallest resolution available in Win XP is 800X600 (which may be the problem).

Re-writing these systems in vfp is not an option at this time.
