Hi Derek,

the easiest way is to use a barcode font. I used Code 3 of 9 which is freely available (you can download one version here http://www.squaregear.net/fonts/free3of9.shtml).

You then just format the code with a * at the beginning and ending of the string and that's all there is to it.
