Hi Stephen,

You may need to configure your /etc/X11/xorg.conf or your XFree86 file, depending on you version of Linux. Most distributions have a GUI X configuration script, that when run makes configuration of your video very easy.

For RedHat 9 the name of the configuration app is redhat-config-xfree86 .
