My project needs to prototype content delivery management (a "runtimeAPI"). There is a requirement that a JavaScript (.js) apiwrapper (packaged with the content) run an init() method exposed by the runtimeAPI when launched.

The runtimeAPI would also need to expose a "GetValue()" and "SetValue()" methods to content JavaScript.

A quick google seemed to indicate that JavaScript will instanciate a foxISAPI COM (DLL). The COM will employ MSXML2. Any advice most appreciated. This is only a prototype to "proof" the content delivery scheme (8080:LocalHost) - not the delivered solution.
