I have an application where I need to print a specific number of labels in accordance with each invoice. Sometimes it could be 2 labels another time 5, another time 19.

These are 1/2 inch high, single column fed through a dot matrix printer.

My problem is that the label form must be given a back sheet size to work with. So if I give it a 6 inch length and I just need 1 label, it prints the 1 label and spews out 5 more blank labels while in completes the page.

Is there some way of getting the printer to end with the last label without attempting the complete its concept of the back page size?
