You're absolutely correct on this. That's why our company is consistent on the policy that every new developers/recruits on VFP (whether knows FP, VB etc. - products not supporting OOP concept) should not go directly to our Development Framework but rather the should start on the BASIC/STANDARD VFP Feature (DE, OOP, C/S, Data Dictionary), for them to be more effective in a long term basis. Why? Because without proper foundation on VFP's OOP, you can not absolutely maximize its so called programming POWER. And OOP, in the sense, when properly understand and used, the application is much easier to maintain, less errors.
