Hi Jay,
>They are just PRG files. Run from within Foxpro on the command line. If we run one after another, there is a slowdown. If we run one, then close Forpro, run the next, close Foxpro, etc, then all is fine.

Path settings different / file search different ?
clean up memory between runs ? (amount of memory really used?)
oodles of tables left open ?
oodles of objects left in memory/screen ?
opening debugger/set coverage/"set" window in prg 1? don't laugh - happened once to me <g>
a couple of relations as baggage when running in one run ?

fix: time or coverage it.
Should be easy to find if it is more than 50% difference.

regards

thomas
