I did it another way. I copied the records from the original container for the contained controls using appe from ? between(recno(), 33, 40).

Modified the Parent in the copied record to the form.container name

Copied the properties which were stored in Properties of the form.container record

removed (deleted and packed) the RESERVED record which was in between after coping the same using SET CARRY ON to after the appened records.

and I fianlly got it working.
