Just for the record, I'll clarify that the 56-character line length is the culprit and not a mean editor. :-)

So true. Whenever I have to edit code to break lines when we are looking over the final proof (for those lines that somehow slipped through the writing and editing process), I do it with great fear and trembling (and also very carefully).
