The report is running from a form with a grid - will keep that in mind. But I seem to have found the problem to be with some field updates I did to the table which the cursors were created from.

Cannot explain why, but I refactored the code that was doing the updates, and so far my testing has proven it to be a fix. Odd how it only happens randomly and with the preview working correctly.

>Are you running the report from a form that has a grid on it? If so, programmatically take focus off the grid before running the report because the grid can switch the current alias trying to refresh itself.
