The second category could be determined on a percentage of all the help given on the precedent year. And then a survey of the UT users could help decide who should get a free PUTM after managers of the UT nominate certain helpers.

Denis,

I think that this is what Michel was trying to accomplish with the "stars". Unfortunately, it was abused, and because of this, the possibility of someone getting a free PUTM was removed.

Do I think it would be a good business decision for Michel to reward UT contributors for what they do here? Yes, I do. There are a number of folks (including yourself and Jos) that I would support as deserving.

Perhaps, rather than a "Personality of the Year" vote, Michel could do a "Contributors of the Year", allowing UT membership to nominate and vote. Michel, could then select the top "n" members (where "n" is a number he could determine) and reward them with a PUTM. The criteria should simply be based on whom the membership thought was deserving.

This way, he could remove the entire "MVP" issue. Now, speaking for myself, I got my MVP for my contributions here and no where else. If the membership, however, didn't think I was deserving, then so be it.
George
