Many years ago, I don't remember if it was dBase or FoxBase, I wrote an application which I still use daily. The Norwegian word for backorder is restordre, so it was only natural for me to name the backorder table rest, and also the quantity field was named rest. This was before REST became a scope. You can imagine some of my commands caused me problems after some years .....!
