I hope you don't mind, but I will email you four word docs which show basically what I am after. I am new to Visual Foxpro and am struggling a bit, having been used to working with Foxpro 2.6 DOS Version.

All I want to do is to be able to search one database having allowed the operator to select fields from the database. I don't want to show them all of the fields in a database as there are confidential bits and pieces in some of the fields which are hidden from all but one or two senior executives, such as credit rating etc.

My email shows a system which is more complicated than I actually need. All I need is an initial screen with an advanced option that allows the operator to be able to select the fields I make available to them. The docs I am sending show the fields, and it actually remembers the fields that were selected the last time the search procedure was used. Each user has a c:\temp directory for storing mem files, temporary databases etc.

Does your foxyclasses software incorporate such a scenario ? Please advise
