That is because picture is in General Field. Whe You use APPEND GENERAL, VFP appends not only picture itself but additional information in what OLE server must read the pucture. If that program/server isn't installed in other computer no way to read the picture :o((. So You must store the picture in ordinary MEMO field or as an external file & save only path to it. Other way is to look what OLE VFP use to read this type of picture in WinXP & install this program on Win98.
