I wouldn't say nonsense, but a tautology, i.e. using unnecessary, superfluous verbal words more than you need, in addition to those that are necessary.

There was an supermarket ad on TV here a few years ago where something was given free with such-and-such. The woman on the ad said, "Free ... that's one of my favourite prices.". What a stupid expression. Are her prices, in order of favourite, free, 1 penny, 2p, 3p, 4p, etc., or does it go £1, 30p, free? And if it's only one of her favourites, which is the favourite.
