Assumption: "Punt" is used primarily either in Ireland and/or GB.
"International english" often shows "Irish Pound" or something similar.

So here is a german writing an answer to an englishman partly about the spelling in a post to a probably native dutch. We are all using a canadian board, so what "language rules" apply ? Is there a "canadian english" ? Would it apply ? Who decides how to spell names - "Munich" is spelled "München" in german, which would make it quite difficult to type on some keyboards<g>.

Yupp, some are still not happy with it and talk about it often in this century. Well, it was not a totally teetotal discussion ;-)
