Hi Mike,
I'm getting that deja-vu feeling with this one <s>. Whilst you can clearly use GetRecordData / SetRecordData how you like, the main purpose of these functions are simply to pass a single record object across Datasession / COM boundaries. I don't think you will find many CM users that will be able to advise you one way or the other because GetRecordData and SetRecordData are not really analagous to Replace. However you use this, I don't think performance will be an issue.
>I have been exploring the use of the data objects in Codemine using GetRecordData and SetRecordData commands along with the update. I'm wondering if anyone uses them as opposed to the .Replace(), and whether the performance is adversely affected.
