I skip the problem selecting the tables before the seek and setting the index i need to use....but does not make sense !!!

>I think maybe your problem is because of the value in your textbox is an Null.You can Use isnull(this.value) to check it out first, or just convert the null to an empty char by using NVL(this.Value,"") in your seek() function.
