>>Depends on the subject. Our mortality is an absolute truth... we all die.

>But how would you know you are dead? If it can never be known that you, yourself, are dead, then even if it is an absolute truth, you cannot know it. Which was the question.

Isn't that the whole point of death. Once you're dead you have no conscience, you know nothing, you feel nothing and you do nothing. You might as well be a rock (ok, you'll ask "how do you know what a rock feels etc...").

Maybe this flesh and bone we drag around is just a vessel to hold our soul.

Maybe you know that you're dead if you find yourself standing in front of someone called GOD and He tells you "hey buddy, I invented death, and let me tell you... you're dead..." ~s~

>Sure, I would be one of those people. But besdies being absolute, what about God do you really know?

I hope He is absolute in a good way. I hope He is absolutly just and rightous. I hope that He is absolutly holy, that He can not tolerate even the slightest amount of unrightousness. I hope that He is absolutly merciful and that He in fact gave us a way out of this life and into a better place.

>Simply saying that "absolute truth = the word God" doesn't really contain any knowledge. Just an equality between some made up words.

We'll all find out sooner or later what/who God is... if He exist.
