It would be better if you put your EXEs at every workstation, this has his downside that you have to implemment a way to update every new version of your APP, but it can be workarround using a Launch program, you will find some of thems in download section.
Talking about performance in how the data is traveling arround your LAN, it depends on how well you define your indexes to get a better performance with the use of the Rushmore tech, see the docs in Help.
