Can I ask you a very simple question? Why are you using _SCREEN? You can set the _SCREEN to be off in nada land, like top=10000 left=10000,and thereafter use any VFP form as your top level form, your own desktop as it were.

I believe all you need to do this is set ShowWindow to 2- As top level form and the Desktop property to False. And therein you'll set AutoCenter to .T. in the init.
