You're welcome. Though it's not for hotels and screenshots are old take a look at www.accutrack.org - Appointment views. They use:
1) Pure VFP grids
2) Containers
3) Activex grids
4) HTML grids
(For example daily viewer version there use 2 VFP grids, monthly is also pure VFP grid)
