>Is there a specific setting in a wireless capable linksys router that would make a PC connected to it with a wireless card to timeout of the connection once every 10 minutes approximately? I have to force a connect every 10 minutes when that happens to regain my connection back to the Internet.

I have a WRT54G Linksys router. I haven't had that problem using a 802.11b card in my laptops. I looked in the config and could not see anything that might cause this. I noticed that some other routers do have a disconnect time setting, though I can't imagine why. Broadband = "Always on" Why use a router with dial-up?

Have you looked a parameters in the wireless card or the network stack in the OS?
