This is not exactly the certification exam.

There is a "5 star developer program", for .NET. It seems that there is no equivalent in the English language, but I can't swear on it.

Pressummably, the idea is to have a sufficient amount of developers, trained in MS technologies.

People register for the program, read through the study materials, and then take exams for the first star. Then, they repeat the cycle for the second start, etc.

Everything is free, BTW. At least, participation in the program seems to be free. And instead of the Visual.NET IDE, an alternative IDE is used - I can't remember which, right now - but it is free, and, of course, it has less options than Visual.NET.

Now, according to the information in this thread, it seems that the 5-star developer program has been expanded to VFP, that it is related to .NET (for instance, "consuming Web services" is part of the study program), and that so far, only the "first star" is available for VFP.
