Some printers have built-in barcode fonts, which you may invoke with the proper commands. See your printer manual.
For a more generic solution, it seems easier to make with the standard Windows printing (printing a barcode font, I think), but there you have the problem with the eject. Sometimes it makes sense to define a shorter page length. For instance, if you want to print two half-pages (on 11-inch paper), you can define a "page height" of 11/2 = 5.5.
