I have a field whose controlsource is set to a numeric field within a table. Can I temporarily allow the user to type alpha characters into this field? I've tried setting the format and input mask properties to (None) - no luck. However, I can set the controlsource to (None) and it allows alpha characters.

Also, what it the proper was through source code to set a property to (None)?
