The TabControl, I have solved it pretty much by assigning a System color that makes it quite ok. But, the UpDownNumeric control is not compliant with Themes and is showing in the old mod. Some have found workarounds. But, for all the troubles required, based on the timeframe of the release, I'll probably wait.
