Derek,

I had some success with this approach.

1) Create a custom paper length in windows for your dot matrix. The exact technique depends on your OS version
2) Create a new printer on your machine which default paper length equal your 5.5 inch. Give it a distintive name (avoid space)
3) Open your report in VFP and in printer setup choose your new dot matrix printer and your paper custom lenght. Save it.
4) When printing, choose the new printer. (you can check the printger property to make sure the paper size is 5.5" as it should). The report will follow the printer paper size.



An alternative to this approach in step 3, open your report in a browse window and empty all values on the first line for field EXPR, TAG and TAG2. Always make sure you use a printer with a default paper size of 5.5" or manuallay choose thaqt paper size when printing.
