It is procedural code now, but it didn't start out that way. It was, at first, interactive. It has now been changed to run automatically. In a more perfect world, without the crunch of looming deadlines, I'd go back and change it, but there really is not enough time now. I agree that it is not absolutely the finest solution, but it runs properly, is very fast, and produces the correct results, so how much can I complain?
