Can those who know more about ASP.Net than me (i.e. most of you), tell me how I can provide a streaming price feed onto an aspx page?

Someone here suggested I have to use Java and don't have any choice, but I'm dubious, especially as MSFT are not exactly keen on Java.

The feed would be textual information, but as a stock quote price changed, then I would ideally like to display the data and also change a background colour momentarily.
