We are going to begin a project which is going to have apart of local dbf's a lot of access to an AS400 db. We have heard some rumors about the poor performance of some odbc/as400 drivers or generally about the compination VFP-AS400, especially in comparison with the "native" access that Delphi has to the AS/400 db.

I would apreciate if someone who has worked with VFP-AS400 would give me some advice or point me to some sources ... I would also like to know whether someone has a positive or negative experience with Delphi c/s development.
