>Absolutely. Recursive methods, as you have just discovered, are especially useful for tree walking and for drilling down into object hierarchies < s >. The only limititation in versions prior to VFP 9 is that the DO nesting level was 128, meaning that if your tree has more than 128 levels in its hierarchy, the recursive method fails. However, with VFP 9, the new StackSize setting lets you increase this up to 64K.
