>Hi Denis. When do you plan to upgrade to VFP 9.0 and what are some of your favorite features in the new version?

Sorry Ken perhaps you found my other reply to this same message too abrasive.

I noticed in the last months that you reply only to those telling you how much they appreciate the work you do, how much everything surrounding VFP is fantastic...

But deep down do you really believe it?

You see as a contractor I also like my clients to tell me that I do a good job.

But even if my ego suffers from it I also take into account the criticism.

And you know what I noticed? it's the criticism that makes my app a better one. Usually I know what I do well. Perhaps (because of that ego thingie) I don't really give all the attention the bad things should deserve. So my customers tell it to me (sometimes the hard way). This makes it even harder on my ego.

But then again if it's for the good of my application everybody wins in the end.

So Ken please answer this one.

What do you want the community to tell you in the future?

Feel free to do some snipping here and there so everything looks like you answered everything <vbg>

Oops I almost forgot.

Keep up the fantastic job! I've seen huge improvements on the marketing of VFP in the last months. The future really looks bright for VFP. I was scared recently because of the .Net bulldozer but after all the details you gave about what would come after VFP9 I feel really secure now about using VFP for years to come.

I don't see how things could be better for VFP right now!
