Before I start, let me wish you a very happy new year!

I mentioned this some time ago. Having VFP7, vfp8, vfp9beta, and vfp9 categories makes me wonder where is the most appropriate place to post a question when I have one.

For example, if I have a question related to reports in vfp8, should I post it in the Reports category or in the vfp8 category?

Those version-specific categories are excellent when a new version goes into public beta because it gives us all a place to discuss issues that might be relevant to the beta only.

However, once the beta is over, and the version has been publicly released, we have a few problems:

- In order to post a message, like I stated at the beginning, I feel like I need to toss a coin in order to decide whether my problem is related to Forms or to vfp8. Either that or assume that all the categories pertain to vfp 3 through 6, and if I have something related to a 7+ version, it should be in its own category.

- When I'm running a search, looking for an answer that might have been posted before, whenever I find an answer in one of those version-specific categories, it's impossible to tell whether those answers pertain to a problem with the beta or it's an answer I can use with the actual product?

- Finally, this categories arrangmenet breaks with the latest UT interface design change: You can post a message in the vfp8 category and then choose vrp3 in the version drop-down menu.

So, Michel, how can you help me with this problem?
