The recordsource of the grid class is none, the recordsourcetype = 1 alias

The recordsource is set when the user clicks on a search button in form 2

I know the grid behavior of using defaults when changing the recordsource when working in a form
In my case i call the modal form2 (with the resultgrid) from form1 allways in the same way:
do form2 with yyy to lvar

Then the normal events of form2 will happen (hopefully) init,activate....
The user fills a search field, an select command is passed the the server, the recordsource of the grid is set to the resultcursor, the user doubleclicks on a row in the grid and form2 is released. At unload a parameter is returned to form1
I do not understand why this works only once!
Calling form2 from form1 in the same way, filling the searchfield with the same value .... and the grid is reset to default textboxes ?????

When releasing form1, calling it again, calling form2 from form1 everything works as aspected!
(once). Staying in form1 and calling form2 again = default grid in form2 ??????????

I may be just stupid, but i don't know where to look for what in form2 ?????
I thought that calling a form, releasing a form and calling it again should allways come to the same results???
