Yes, that bit of code will play the Windows Media Player playlist from one end to the other in Visual FoxPro. It's great if you want to have music while you are coding.

I want to create a software radio station. It will play each song separately using a VFP table as a reference. I will be able to use my microphone to announce live or pre-record the announcer material. I need to be able to play one song, then turn on the microphone and speak. Then, click a button and the next song will start.

I suspect that this is not possbile, but I have sent an email to the WMP team at MS and I hope they will reply.

I have been chasing this code for a couple of weeks and, having read every morsel of MSDN WMP advice, most of which is for Windows CE, I an happy to announce that I am officially crazy. ;-)
