Are you talking about QueryMaker from Strategic Edge Software? If so, I use it in a FPW 2.6 app. When I am running my executable, after I run the query, I am able to click "Edit Form" and bring up the report editor, then when I click on the Report Setup screen, the report editor disappears. If I click Ctrl-F1, the report editor comes back up. Also, I can re-click the "Edit Form" button and the report editor comes back up again.

I just tried to go to the Strategic Edge website and found that strategicedge.com is for sale. Perhaps they went out of business?
