I have a VFP8 report form that printed fine on other printers until I tried it out on our new HP Color LaserJet 3500. When the report form is printed, all that appears on the printer is a blank white page with:

PCL XL Error
Subsystem: KERNEL
Error: ColorSpaceMismatch
Operator: VendorUnique
Position: 9

MSKB article Q238473 suggests installing an "older" printer driver as a workaround but unfortunately this does not work very well since the LJ 3500 is a USB-only printer and the old (i.e. HP LaserJet 4) drivers don't want to work with USB apparently.

From what I have googled (and there's very little I can find), other non-VFP users with Crystal Reports and PCL 6 printers have the same problem, but no one has a decent solution.

I can print a document from Word just fine using the existing HP Color LJ 3500 driver, it's just this VFP8 report form that is giving me trouble.

P.S. I am using HP's most recent drivers.
